How to Install Elementor Template kit on Your Website

Welcome to IACPATTERNS! In this guide, I’ll walk you through the process of getting your website up and running using our Elementor template kits. Follow these steps to go from purchasing a domain to customizing your site with ease.

Getting Started with a Domain and Hosting

a. Choose a Hosting Provider

  • Visit Hostinger
  • Select a hosting plan that suits your needs, such as Shared Hosting or WordPress Hosting.

b. Register a Domain

  • Use the domain search tool on Hostinger to find an available domain name.Register your chosen domain during the hosting plan checkout process.

c. Set Up Your Hosting Account

  • Create an account on Hostinger.
  • Complete the purchase and log in to your Hostinger control panel.

Installing WordPress

a. Access Your Hosting Control Panel

  • Log in to your Hostinger account.
  • Navigate to the hosting control panel (hPanel).

b. Install WordPress

  • In the ‘Website’ section, click on ‘Auto Installer’.
  • Select WordPress from the list of applications.
  • Fill in the required details (domain, admin username, password, email).
  • Click ‘Install’ and wait for the process to complete.

Setting Up WordPress

a. Log in to Your WordPress Dashboard

  • Access your WordPress dashboard by going to yourdomain.com/wp-admin.
  • Log in with the admin credentials you set during installation.

b. Configure Basic Settings

  • Go to ‘Settings’ -> ‘permalinks’ and set the permalinks to ‘post name’.

Installing the Elementor Plugin

Note: To fully unlock the advanced capabilities and features Elementor pro is required.

a. Add New Plugin

  • In your WordPress dashboard, go to ‘Plugins’ -> ‘Add New’.
  • Search for ‘Elementor’.
  • Click ‘Install Now’ and then ‘Activate’ once the installation is complete.

b. Install Elementor Pro

  • If you have purchased Elementor Pro, download the plugin from the Elementor website.
  • In the WordPress dashboard, go to ‘Plugins’ -> ‘Add New’ -> ‘Upload Plugin’.
  • Upload the Elementor Pro plugin file and activate it.
  • Enter your license key to activate Elementor Pro features.

Importing Your Elementor Template Kit

Please make sure you have the Hello Elementor theme installed on your website. You can install it by going to Appearance > Themes > Add New Theme, then search for ‘Hello Elementor‘ and install the first result. Additionally, you can download the theme here.

a. Download Your Template Kit

  • Go to IACPATTERNS
  • Click on the template you want and Add it to cart

After adding the template to your cart, you will be redirected to the cart page. Click on the Proceed to Checkout button and fill in your billing details. Then, click on the Place Order button. You can make payments with MasterCardVerveVisaApple Pay, and American Express.

After making the payment, you will be redirected to the Order Summary page. Just click on the product title that you purchased to download the template file in a ZIP format. After downloading the file, you can go back to your website to import the template.

Important: Before importing the template into your website, disable Elementor’s default colors and fonts. To do this, go to Elementor > Settings. In the General tab, scroll down and check the two boxes that say “Disable Default Colors” and “Disable Default Fonts”. By checking these boxes, Elementor will inherit styles from your theme, preventing styling issues.

b. Upload and Import the Template Kit

  • In your WordPress dashboard, go to ‘Elementor’ -> ‘Tools’ -> ‘Import/Export Kit’.
  • Click ‘Start Import’.
  • Upload the .zip file of your template kit.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the import process.

When importing the template, Elementor will display the required plugins for the template. Ensure you check the box to install these required plugins to ensure the template works properly.
